In the past year, the Nanalan hashtag on TikTok has generated over 200 million views alone leading to viral fame for the 25-year-old show.

So you’ve been scrolling TikTok recently and come across a little green puppet in multiple different memes, but who is she? Well, she’s called Mona and she’s the star of the Show “Nanalan”. In each episode we see Mona being dropped off at her grandmother’s house to be picked back up again at the end of every episode. But between that time Mona gets up to all kinds of activities and adventures with her dog Russell “Russer” and her nana. I’m sure we’ve all seen her in action with classics such as “Who’s that Wonderful Girl” and let’s not forget “Are you feeling kinda mad?”.
